The book costs £9.00 plus a standard delivery of £1.75 meaning the total cost of the purchase is £10.75.

£10.75 = 1,200 Avios (1 Avios = 0.9p)

Whether this is a good deal depends on your own valuation of Avios. To work out your valuation of Avios you must first decide how you will redeem them. I suggest selecting a destination you want to travel to and decide whether you will book with Avios, or Avios & cash, or book with Avios then upgrade to Avios. This will allow you to work out the value of Avios to you and also will give you a good idea of the ease of your redemption choice. You may also be able to resell this item on eBay to earn back some of the initial outlay. I do not recommend bulk buying with the sole intention of reselling as Tesco can revoke any clubcard points it credits to your account if it feels you are abusing the offer.
