The promotion is buy any 2 HP ink cartridges and earn 500 bonus Tesco Clubcard points. 500 Tesco Clubcard points can be converted into 1,200 Avios, at standard rate. There have been conversion bonuses in the past which increase the Avios value of Tesco Clubcard points. So, if you have no immediate need for Avios then always hold Tesco Clubcard vouchers and wait for a bonus.

However, if you have a specific redemption goal in mind where you can get higher value for your Avios then you effectively buying them at a discount. The problem with the cheapest cartridges is they are unusual colours that may effect your ability to resell and the resale value.
