How It Works
Go to Iberia Plus.
Either create an account if you don’t have one, or log into an existing account.
Go to My Promotions.
Register for the 2,000 extra Avios promotion.
Purchase a flight through Iberia.com by 31 July 2013. You cannot pay with Avios nor buy a flight then cancel it later.
Avios will be credited to your account between 1 and 15 September, 2013.
This promotion can be used once per customer.
Final Note
Remember, Avios earned through Iberia can be transferred to British Airways Executive Club or Avios.com instantly and without charge. To transfer Avios to Iberia Plus you need to have held your account for over 90 days and since Avios redemption through Iberia have significantly less taxes and charges than British Airways it is a good idea to open an Iberia Plus account even if you have no immediate plans to use it.
