4,896 Avios for Pre-Order Diablo III

There appears to be an error on the Tesco Direct website. They are offering Diablo 3 as a pre-order for £40 with the following additional bonuses.

• Free delivery on all DVDs, Blu-ray, video games and CDs


• Get 1000 extra Clubcard points when you pre-order Diablo 3


• Get 500 extra Clubcard points when you spend £35 on pre-order games

However, when you click pre-order and go through to the checkout it shows 2,000 bonus Clubcard points. It is unclear if this is an error or intentional. I recommend acting quickly just in case it is an error and Tesco pull the extra points.

Here is the maths of the purchase.

£40 = 40 Clubcard points + 2,000 bonus Clubcard points = 4,896 Avios (1 Avios = 0.82 pence)

This is an amazing deal for Avios alone but particularly as you will easily be able to resell this item if you want to get back some of your original investment.

You may be able to use codes TDXR-TRMP and TDXR-THNR to get £5 off, though these are targetted so probably won’t work for most people.
