Avios.com have launched a new promotion called Shrink the World. The normal Avios required for an award ticket to select locations have been significantly discounted for a short period of time. However, there are three important caveats, this is for economy tickets only, you still have to pay the high British Airways surcharges, and bookings cannot be upgraded using Avios once confirmed. So, this still may not be a good deal compared with a cash ticket.
There are 62 destinations on sale. You must book by 28 June but can fly until 18 December 2013.
