Lloyds TSB offer two credit cards that earn Avios. Previously the sign up bonuses offered for these two cards involved a complicated voucher system. After meeting the spending requirement you earned an Avios voucher that could only be redeemed through Avios.com when also booking a hotel. If you didn’t use all of the Avios then you lost the rest. However, Lloyds have changed their credit cards and made them much more attractive. You now earn normal Avios that can be redeemed without any restrictions. The spending requirement has remained restrictive though. You have to spend £500 EVERY month on the American Express card only. If you spend in places that do not accept American Express then this may be a problem. I discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the two cards in my reviews; links below.

Lloyds TSB Duo Avios Credit Card has no annual fee and 15,000 Avios sign up bonus. I have a full review here.

These new sign up bonuses are scheduled to last until 15 September 2013 so there is no need to hurry with your application.
Remember, these Lloyds Avios cards are completely different to the British Airways Avios cards so if you have one then you apply for the other and still earn the sign up bonus.
