BAA WorldPoints is the loyalty program for Heathrow Airport. You earn points when you buy things in their shops and restaurants. If you are not yet a member then go immediately to the bottom of this post.
BAA WorldPoints can be converted into Avios and there is a 100% bonus for all conversions made before 14 April 2013.
The standard conversion rate is 300 Avios for every 250 BAA WorldPoints.
This bonus makes the conversion 600 Avios for every 250 BAA WorldPoints.
If you are not a member of BAA WorldPoints then there is a new joiner bonus I have written about here (even if you are a member then another household member could join instead!) You earn 1,000 WorldPoints after spending £10. This will now convert into 2,400 Avios. It takes time for the BAA WorldPoints card to arrive so you will have to scan your receipts and email them to ensure your points are credited before the deadline on 14 April.
